This scrubber is made of wood. I have had it for less then a month. And have only used it about half a dozen times and the wood on the bristle part is already spliting apart. I don't see this lasting more then another month before it splits completely apart. I would not suggest buying this item.Customer Review: A must-have for cast-iron pots

We recently switched to cast-iron cookware and didn't know how to clean it. We got two of these and they really seem to do the trick. The bristles are stiff and great for scrubbing off food and grease, and the handle is long enough so that you don't bash your knuckles on the pot while you're cleaning it.
