My husband got me this for my birthday, well I ordered it. I am very happy with my gift. I have used it quite a bit, and I would do it again, I want the 3 quart size next. It is very durable and make the food taste better. I can throw everything in it and put it in the oven or stove and have a very nice dinner. I highly recommend this product!!!

I have wanted a dutch oven for forever but the prices always scared me. After reviewing some sites I found Lodge to be the best value so I couldn't wait to cook with this one. I used it to deep fry some pickles and it worked well. Then I braised some short ribs and had them cooking for 3 hours in my oven. The pot looked like I would have to use some serious elbow grease to get it clean. Guess what? I didn't. A sponge and hot water and the dark cooked on sauce came off very easily. The ribs were delicious, by the way. ;) I am definitely going to be getting my money's worth out of this one. The dutch oven was everything it was advertised to be and the customer service was excellent. Knew about the product before purchasing and it lived up to its reputation. Knew also before purchasing, it dutch over was going to be put into an oven over 400 degrees, I should replace the non-metal lid knob. So I went to Lowe's and picked up an all metal cabinet knob for a couple of bucks and replaced the furnished included - worked like a charm.Customer Review: keeping Gene in the kitchen

I bought this Lodge enamel cast-iron 6 qt dutch oven caribbean blue along with the 3qt Island Spice for my husband. He only uses cast iron cookware. He is thrilled with the quality of these enameled pots. He looks for something to cook. He said this was a very good deal on these. pots. Thanks so much for helping me stay out of the kitchen. Betty
