This item turned out to be the perfect solution to an old pet peeve of mine - football-shaped hamburgers. In the past, I had tried all the typical tricks for making my burgers come out flat, but nothing worked satisfactorily. With the grill press, you simply set the thing on top of the burger when you start cooking, wait about minute, flip the burger, and finish it off for about 45 seconds. It not only comes out perfectly flat and fitting the bun edge to edge, the cooking time is dramatically reduced. It's also supposed to be good for bacon and grilled sandwiches, but I haven't tried those yet. I'm sure it'll work fine there, too. Excellent product, highly recommended.

This seasoned and ready to use round grill press is good for keeping bacon from curling, also chicken breasts, pork chops, steaks. Nice and heavy to do the job right.
