Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Lodge Max Temp Handle Mitt, BlackCustomer Review: Another use.... Summary: 5 StarsI recently bought a tiny, travel size straightening iron (for hair) and I needed something safe to store it in when it's still hot and I need to pack it in my suitcase. This is the perfect size and safety measure.
They sell hot iron cases for 3 times the price of this even safer alternative! Plus, when my little iron no longer works, I can use this pot handle for it's real purpose- in my kitchen.
Love it for both purposes. I highly recommend it.
Customer Review: A little Loose Fitting Summary: 4 StarsI used this for the first time today and found it very functional, although a little loose fitting. Be careful when lifting the heavy skillet so that the hangle doesn't turn within the mitt. After five minutes, I mastered the technique.
Customer Review: You can't go wrong Summary: 5 StarsThese are great quality and really protect you from heat. They slip on easily and make for a comfortable grip, too. What more is there to say? You can't go wrong.
Customer Review: Too small to use Summary: 1 StarsMaybe I don't know how to use these mitts, but they are tiny--too small to put your hands inside and too small to wrap around the handle to use. I don't understand their use. I unwrapped them before really looking at them or I would have returned them.
Customer Review: Hot temp pot handle mitt Summary: 5 StarsThese are great for all pot handles, but especially for iron skillets. I bought six for both myself and as gifts. We all love them. I've seen these online for as much as $12.00 each . . . I only paid $6.00 each, so search carefully before you buy!
